I work at the Laboratorio de Ingeniería Mecánica (LIM - Mechanical Engineering Lab) of the University of A Coruña, in Ferrol, Spain.
My research interests comprise multibody system dynamics, co-simulation, cyber-physical systems, and digital twins.
I graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Navarra (Spain) in 2004, and received my Ph.D. from University of A Coruña in 2010. I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Applied Dynamics Lab in the Centre for Intelligent Machines at McGill University (Montréal, Canada) between 2010 and 2014, and held a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral fellowship from the Ministry of Economy of Spain between 2014 and 2017. From 2018 to 2023 I worked under the Ramón y Cajal programme, a 5-year research fellowship also granted by the Ministry of Economy, back at LIM.
The 2023 Lagrange Award to outstanding PhD theses on Multibody Dynamics, presented by IFToMM's Technical Committee for Multibody Dynamics and Springer's journal Multibody System Dynamics, has been awarded to Yuanqing Gu (Tianjin University). Honourable mentions were presented to Seongji Han (Kyung Hee University) and Patrick S. Schmid (Universität Stuttgart). Congratulations! |
