The Mechanical Engineering Laboratory (LIM) is one of the research laboratories in the Department of Naval and Industrial Engineering at University of La Coruña. The LIM is located in the Technology Workshops Building on the Ferrol Campus (No. 12). Mechanical Engineering is an essential area for a wide range of industrial activities, including the design, development, production, management, and control of engineering systems.

In research, the LIM specializes in multibody dynamics (see research section). In teaching, LIM professors teach courses in mechanical engineering and related fields (see teaching section).
