COSIMBAUTO aims at investigating co-simulation schemes suitable for soft and hard real-time simulation of multiphysics systems in Hardware/Human-in-the-Loop (HiL) and System-in-the-Loop (SiTL) test benches, with special focus on automotive applications.
The project started in 2018, led by the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory (Laboratorio de Ingeniería Mecánica - LIM) at University of A Coruña (Spain). Researchers from Siemens Digital Industries Software (Belgium) and LUT University (Finland) have also collaborated in its tasks.
The following are open access journal articles that contain relevant project results.

Besides, the project results have been presented in international conferences:
Benchmark problems have been defined during the development of this project to enable the systematic comparison of different co-simulation strategies. Matlab implementations of these examples will be available at the cosim-benchmarks github repository.
Moreover, an introduction to co-simulation document has been generated to provide basic concepts on the topic and related bibliography to grad students.
